SNOW!!!

YAY!! so it snowed today!!! and its actually going to stay over night!!! (knock on wood that is) i can't believe how much i missed the snow and how much i love it!!! this morning when i walked outside to go to school there was a few inches but now i think there are four or five, which is exciting!! and now for the huge question; whos up for sledding?!!!! i just want to go and play in the snow so i demand someone come sledding as long as the hills haven't been ripped up by little booger eaters yet that is. so if your up for it, let me know

well i must say that the visit didn't go quite as bad as i thought it would. my parents got a new puppy (a pug) which is absolutly cute and they named her JB, which is short for John's (my Dad) Brat (Dad wanted Bitch, but Cheryl Anne wouldn't let him, lol!!) but the presents were better than they have been in a while which is really nice for once, but still its related around Randi. i think that that is just going to be something i'm just going to have to face. i also think i say that every year and then forget that i've said that. i got a bunch of cooking stuff since thats what Randi was asking for but i dont plan on ever cooking a whole hell of a lot. The crock pot was a definite GREAT thing to get since now all i have to do it put a bunch of shit in there and then leave!!! yay!!! i hate paying attention to that kind of stuff and i like the whole come home and its done thing. give me a camera and i'm a happy girl, give me a pan and i'm just going to hit someone that pisses me off with it, which is still in my opinion useful, but not the pans original purpose.

the Parental Units

well today i'm getting a little nervous because the parents are coming up. i was hoping it would just be my papa, but apparently his wife is coming up as well. the good part is that it's not going to be terribly long because they are going to be tired from a long day and not want to be at my house late!! yay!!! i dont want them there though, it makes me terribly uncomfortable to have them around. its always been like that though, so once they're gone i'm going to be SO happy!!
on with my blabber, i'm really excited about this semester!! this is a really open semester and our assignments are just "shoot this genre" and off we go!! its really great because i get to do fucked up pictures!!!!! i'm all over using snakes and spiders and blood and damaged angel wings and all that fun stuff!!! whoo hoo!!!! i think that this is going to be an expensive semester because of all the shit that i want in my shoots. buying a hundred or so plastic spiders and then 10 or so really good looking fake spiders isn't terribly cheap, but it will be so worth it in the long run.
as for the angel wings, they are actually going to be pretty cheap. they are going to be about 6' tall and i'm going to make them. my friend is giving me two old feather pillows that she doesn't use anymore which saves me $60!! i'm really excited about these wings because i know that i'm going to be using them a lot and they are going to look the way that i want them to look.
the down side to this semester is that i'm an exhibition committee head and i'm going to be terribly stressed out because of it. i dont just have my stuff to worry about, i have everyone elses stuff to worry about!!! but its going to be worth it and i'm really learning a lot, not just about running one of these but also about myself and how i work in different situations. it's also going to look grand on a resume, which is why i'm in school!!!! so in the long run, its totally worth the whole breaking down in a corner that is inevitably going to happen.

the beginning

so i've decided that since i'm the most horrible person at keeping in touch with everyone and this semester is going to be worse than last, i'm going to attempt to keep one of these puppies going so that everyone knows whats going on. i dont guarentee anything! i'm not terribly sure if this is a phase or not, so if it ends up being one, sorry in advance. (thats the clause)
as for that, not to much is going on. i went to class this morning for no reason at all because it was a "this is what we're doing this semester and have a good day" kind of class which pissed me off because i left my wonderful warm cozy bed for no bloody reason. i also told my teacher that i am not going to his Thursday 8am classes so his notes better be online because he doesn't want to deal with me at that point of the day. the rest of this week is going to be horrible because i'll be adapting to some serious time changes since i have some 8am classes and other ones at 10. since i've been sleeping in until 10:30 usually, this is going to be hard.
as for the stitch i recieved, the doctor is on some serious herion. the stitch started coming untied the next day and then the day after that it came completely undone!! crack addict!! so now i'm trying to keep the stitch in there and its not working so well, it almost came out three times today so i'm thinking of pulling it out myself tomorrow because its pissing me off and i dont want to deal with it anymore.
so thats it and now i'm going to nap
